The piano
Introduction:
The
music is one platform that adds passion and harmony in ours limited life’s,
this space, in my opinion is the beginning to the arts and creation of the
humans, which can being an important instrument of resistance to the our world, dressed for the current order that
generate unhappiness, that to expressed in the music. In this trial I’m talk
about to the piano and its history and its social impact.
Body:
Firstly, this musical
object historically have one predecessor, its zither, this instrument is
originally from Africa and southeast Asia and dates back to the Bronze Age
(circa 3000 BC). It consisted of a set of strings arranged at a certain height
on a small table, which were put to vibrate by the fingernails of the fingers
or some other stabbing element. After the zither, although with slight
variations, was the monochord. The next evolutionary step was constituted by
the psaltery, similar at zither. Finally, the instrument was constituted, the
piano, as we know it today.
The piano has a total of 88 keys, 52 white and 36
black, and each of them is connected to a mechanism that makes a note sound. In
turn, at the moment when the hammer hits the rope, another piece (called
damper) that is placed above when the key is not hit stopping its sound, rises,
letting the string vibrate to produce sound. In this way, when the key is
released, the hammer and the damper return to its original position, so that
the sound ceases, as the damper stops the vibration of the rope.
This instrument has helped at the people, basically foot
the power of the notes that expressed in a song of any music. The piano has
transformed humanity musically. Despite its historical past bourgeois, the
piano became one of the most accessible and entertaining instruments for the
social sphere.
Conclusion:
Finally, we can see that the instrument as the piano
has generated a very important social imprint, because i allow an essential
leap for world music, an important part of the classical musical installation
up to the modern. Therefore, this instrument historically I build our current
musical field that characterizes humans.
