INTRODUCTION: THE VIRUS VIH IN CHILE
In the contemporaneous
society the virus of VIH in Chile is a problem of public health that currently
affects a majority of the Chilean persons, since the cases of infected has increased
this year a 96% regarding the previous year 2010. This figure generates concern
in the public opinion, because we observe this problem doesn´t look as the
emergency and priority of the State and socially this problem generates fear,
rejection and stigmatization because there is a lot of ignorance in the population
concerning this virus. In this present report we have a look the social clout
that experience the infected persons in the Chilean society, and the incomplete
crucial role of the State in educational and health obligations that decanted
in the increasing of infected persons that have knowledge of this virus and the
persons who are not aware they have the virus.
